چکیده

A theoretical and experimental study was carried out on the biocatalytic production of babassu biodiesel through enzymatic hydroesterification. The complete hydrolysis oil using a 1:1 mass solution at 40 °C for 4 h 0.4% lipase from Thermomyces lanuginosus (TLL). Then, with use Eversa® Transform 2.0 in esterification step, statistical design used, varying temperature (25–55 °C), molar ratio between free fatty acids (FFAs) methanol (1:1 to 1:9), percentage biocatalyst (0.1% 0.9%), reaction time (1–5 h) Taguchi method. ideal levels obtained after treatment were 5 1:5 (FFAs/methanol) 0.9% biocatalyst. These optimal conditions validated by chromatographic analysis; following EN 14103 standard, sample showed an ester concentration 95.76%. evaluate stability Eversa FFAs. It observed molecular docking results that ligands interacted directly catalytic site. Through dynamics studies, it verified there no significant conformational changes studied complexes. Theoretical show feasibility this process.

Lipase Immobilized into Novel GPTMS: TMOS Derived Sol-Gels and Its Application for Biodiesel Production from Waste Oil

In this essay, lipase from Burkholderia cepacia was immobilized into 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GPTMS) and tetramethoxysilane (TMOS) derived sol-gels. GPTMS:TMOS molar ratio of 1:3 was found to yield the best result. The morphological characteristics were investigated based on SEM and BET analysis. Sample mean pore diameter was 39.1 nm, it had a specific surface area of 60 m2/g prior to...

Production and Characterization of Biodiesel Using Nonedible Castor Oil by Immobilized Lipase from Bacillus aerius

A novel thermotolerant lipase from Bacillus aerius was immobilized on inexpensive silica gel matrix. The immobilized lipase was used for the synthesis of biodiesel using castor oil as a substrate in a solvent free system at 55°C under shaking in a chemical reactor. Several crucial parameters affecting biodiesel yield such as incubation time, temperature, substrate molar ratio, and amount of lip...

Comparison study of biodiesel fuel production from sunflower oil using by ultrasound and heat

In this research, a comparison of biodiesel produced by ultrasound and heat methods was investigated. Methanol was used as the alcohol with molarity 3, 6 and 9 and KOH 0.5, 1 and 1.5 wt.% As a catalyst. In ultrasound technique, five vibrating pulse levels and three time levels were used. The results indicate that biodiesel produced by ultrasound in some properties includes a flash point of abou...

Nanostructured systems containing babassu (Orbignya speciosa) oil as a potential alternative therapy for benign prostatic hyperplasia

The oil of babassu tree nuts (Orbignya speciosa) is a potential alternative for treatment and prophylaxis of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Improved results can be obtained by drug vectorization to the hyperplastic tissue. The main objective of this work was the preparation and characterization of poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticle and clay nanosystems containing babassu oil (BBS)...
